CNO Developer (Principal)
Location: Hanover, MD or San Antonio TX (On-Site)
Ring0 Technologies (“Ring Zero”) is hiring an advanced CNO Analyst/Programmer who is passionate about cyber security. This engineer will be integrated into a cutting-edge cyber security team and will be thrust into performing in the most challenging computer environments.
Security Requirement: US Citizen with a Top Secret/SCI Clearance/Polygraph Required
Work duties:

Research and discover new software vulnerabilities

Research new and novel techniques for discovering software vulnerabilities
-
Developing and maintaining tools to assist in vulnerability research
-
Designing software to meet customer requirements
-
Working in an Agile Scrum team environment
-
Writing unit and system tests
-
Writing software documentation
Required work experience:
-
8+ years experienced programming using C, C++, and Python
-
8+ years on-depth experience with at least one operating system’s internals
-
8+ years Windows development experience (Visual Studio)
-
8+ years’ experience supporting CNO development
-
5+ years experienced programming or reverse engineering x86, x64, ARM, MIPS, or PowerPC assembly

Experienced with programming and debugging tools such as: IDA Pro, gcc, gdb, OllyDbg

Experienced with software vulnerabilities such as: stack overflows, heap overflows, use after free, race conditions, numeric overflows, input validation

Experienced with platform security techniques such as: Stack Canaries, Safe SEH, ASLR, DEP, CFG

Experience developing code that can execute on older Windows platforms, as well as recent
-
Experience developing and debugging Windows Drivers

Experience in automated testing frameworks

Experience with Powershell

Understanding of Visual Studio property sheets
Desired work experience:

Experienced with one or more of the following: POSIX, Berkley Sockets, Pthreads, STL, Device Drivers, Win32, WinSock, Crypto, Kernel Development, Mac or Windows

Experienced with Virtual Machine software such as: VmWare, Virtualbox, QEMU
