Position Description: RingØ Technologies (“Ring Zero”) is hiring a motivated Princpial Network Engineer to work with a dynamic development team and in support to a complex and challenging virtual machine testing infrastructure environment in support of a large CNO R&D program in Hanover MD.
Responsibilities:

Responsible for all aspects of networking in support of a large virtual machine test environment used by multiple customers

Establishing and maintaining IT and digital communication infrastructure

Ensure reliability of Network File System within a complex Virtual Machine environment

Assume responsibility for maintenance, upgrades, and monitoring of networking equipment

Promptly handle configuration, software, and hardware requirements generated by customers
Required Skills:
-
10+ years’ experience in Network Administration/Engineering
-
7+ years’ experience with networking protocols (eg., TCP, IP, UDP, HTTP, DHCP, and DNS)

Experienced working with routers, switches, gateways etc.

Experience working with virtualized networked environments, such as VMWare and HyperV
-
Ability to identify technical issues and to research and develop solutions in a timely manner with minimal to no oversight
Desired Qualifications:
-
Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE Certification
-
Experience working on Cloud-Edge connectivity solutions and experience with Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure or other Cloud Providers
