Location: Herndon, VA

Clearance: Top Secret

Ring0 Technologies (“Ring Zero”) is hiring PSP Researchers who are passionate about operating system security and keeping up with the latest computer security threats. These researchers will be integrated into cutting edge teams which are responsible for researching software vulnerabilities and collaborating to realize new techniques to aid discovery.

Security Requirement: US Citizen with a Top Secret/SCI Clearance/Polygraph Required

Work duties:

Developing and maintaining tools to assist in vulnerability research

Research and discover mitigation techniques

Research new and novel techniques for discovering software vulnerabilities

Designing software to meet customer requirements

Working in an Agile Scrum team environment

Writing unit and system tests

Writing software documentation

Required work experience:

Experienced programming using C, C++, and Python (or a comparable scripting language)

Experience with Windows Systems Internals

Experienced programming or reverse engineering x86 & x64,

Experienced with programming and debugging tools such as: IDA Pro

Experienced with software vulnerabilities such as: stack overflows, heap overflows, use after free, race conditions, numeric overflows, input validation

Experienced testing PSP products such as McAfee, Norton, etc.

Desired work experience:

Experienced with VMWare Workstation and/or ESXi
